The Color of Pikachu
This is a cover of Yellow, by Coldplay, that I recorded a WHILE ago. It’s not the best, but it’s relevant to my current state of mind. This song always gives me that wonderful feeling of longing/despair, if you know what I mean.

I never understood the star-crossed connection that led me to rich girls. Dating rich girls was not something I set out to do. It always just sort of happened. My initial attraction never hinged on whether or not they were wearing designer pants or real diamond earrings.
I mean, I was never close…

this is for you. you know who you are. thanks for being a wonderful best friend a girl could ever ask for. thanks for the happiest 6 months of my life so far and hopefully to many more. even though it’s only been 6 months, with you it feels like it’s been so much longer. i don’t know how often you read this, but if you do, thanks for giving me a shoulder to cry on when i needed it the most, being there when i struggled so much with my job search, talking all night, working out our disagreements, and for everything in between. thanks for being so thoughtful, hardworking, and caring, and taking care of me all the time when i least expected it. thanks for wanting to be stuck with me in the first place. i’m not going anywhere i promise. not for a long, long time. <3
